This is unashamedly a record of a family visit to a big garden. One of those attached to a huge stately home probably built from sugar or slavery or cotton or shooting. But, beside that it was a wonderful few hours out with my wife and her parents.
Back in the day when I used to accept many commissions to shoot gardens for the likes of Gardener’s World, Country Living and the like I would have loved to be able to shoot in something other than full colour. Of course it was not to be. Not any more.
So, I give you a big garden rendered in my own brand of sepia, along with family and a rather impressive beard.
