During a visit to family on the northern coast of Kent I spent an hour or so wandering around Reculver. Famed for it’s Roman castle I could not help but include it in several of my shots.
The day was grey and overcast with a strong wind blowing and I was shooting handheld. I conceived these shots as square monochromes so that’s how I present them here. However they do look ok in colour, the muted tones of the sandy sea add some real interest.
