Sometime it just doesn’t go to plan. My Nightfalls project is dogging me with problems, failures, moments of inspiration that come to nought and the very limits of my camera kit.
However each shoot is one step towards getting it together and although I may yet hold my hands up and relinquish my grasp on the Nightfalls project at this moment I can see a way ahead, well sort of.
In this set of shots I worked with Scalebar in the Dales with the final image of an hour long exposure a dismal failure due to sensor noise despite all my best efforts on a very cold night. I’m leaning towards shooting at ‘nightfall’ in future rather than the dead of night! It may make my life a little easier.
