Moss Green

This woodland burned to the ground back in 2012 or thereabouts and I’ve visited often wondering when life would return. I can say that it has, and in some abundance. The strange fungi have given way to a lush growth of mosses that clothe the bones of the ruined trees.

  1. Great collection you have made, Jason. Indicates the complete refusal of nature/life to give in. There is always life in some form ready to recolonise natures garden.

    1. Thank you John. Yes it’s always good to see how destroyed landscapes eventually get reclaimed. I’m sure there’ll be native trees such as birch and ash growing there before too much longer.
