Today I didn’t get very far into the valley. The sun was shining through the blackthorn thicket that guards the entrance and I decided to work with just one half moon of blossoms. Many of my shots were quite repetitive as I was trying to find an interesting set of background details, invisible to the eye but brought into being by the play of light and lens.
The contrast couldn’t have been greater, but I do rather like the handful of images I returned home with.
