This was very much an unplanned, on the hoof shoot grabbed en route to deliver a set of fine art prints. I almost didn’t leave the car due to the dense freezing fog but, despite concerns that I may not easily find my way back of the moors, I decided to give it a try suspecting there’d be some rather interesting images awaiting me.
I wasn’t disappointed. It took a while to find the Bridestones on the moors atop Todmorden and I only had an hour or so in their company but I can’t imagine better weather conditions to work with them. The hoar frost sparked on every surface and even became a fixture on my beard!
