Today it’s flowers. I’m not sure how they fit in with flow, other than by adding ‘ers’ to the word. I was caught by these stitchwort flowers that grew in a rather damp area and spent an hour on my belly exploring them though my long lens.
Although I took some images in the traditional way, with my macro lens, I find the long lens shots to be more telling. I always do. Although I may sacrifice a little in the way of sharpness I capture more story and that’s what matters for me.
I don’t use macro very often because I love the miniature moment against a blur of the background – I feel it reflects my/the human small place in the world. Life in a moment.
