I’m not going to say a lot about these shots here as it’s an ongoing project and will be documented here if you’re interested in following the story.
It’s going to take a while and I’m yet to find the focus for the body of work but first I need to continue catching whatever shots the herd of deer allow me to. Being somewhat accepted, if nervously, as a stalker by these beautiful creatures is a privilege and I look forward to many more encounters as they give birth and then on through to the rut and the tough times in the winter that will follow.
Patience, slowness and absolute silence are prerequisites to be allowed into their company, albeit briefly and I look forward to sharing more on the project page as the work finds its way.
