The Foxglove Glade

I’ve always found foxgloves quite difficult to photograph. I think their bright magenta flowers shine too garishly against the green backdrop for me to handle at all well. It’s something I perhaps need to work on.

However on this day everything seemed to conspire to give me some decent shots, at least the darker mood of the woodland glade helped mute the contrast somewhat.
